Black Noodle Success

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today's culinary adventure is Black Pepper Udon Noodles. I didn't have black pepper sauce. So I up the black sauce and put in a ton of black pepper. A little too much black pepper for Cory but he ate 2 helpings anyway. Tasted almost like mom's! And now I am all out of black sauce. Mom, got any?

Weekend with Mr. Ng

Hey Mom and Dad,

Since sis talked about her apartment search and weekend, I will tell you about mine. My new apartment is definitely a WHOLE lot better than my old apartment. Instead of taking 20-25 mins to work, it takes me about 7-10 mins to work. I have not tried walking to Tom Thumb but it looks near enough. On Saturday morning, I finally got most of the boxes unpacked after waking up at 6 a.m. and I couldn't go back to sleep.

Jason made a surprise visit on Saturday, arriving in Dallas around 3:30 and immediately after we went to study the GMAT. We sat down and did some GMAT problems and identified some of my problem areas (which are problem comprehension). After studying for three hours we went for dinner and then we went to watch the movie, Inception. About a quarter through the movie, we decided to leave because we were just too exhausted. We both decided that we are an old couple and we just prefer our sleep. LOL

On Sunday, we studied GMAT for a few hours and then went to eat lunch, ate frozen yogurt and then went back to watch Inception again. After the movie, Jason left to head back to Houston since he has to leave for Calgary the next morning. Sis said that we are just a boring couple, Jason and I think that there is nothing wrong with studying for GMAT and watching a movie. To me, I thought it was an amazing weekend.

Sunday Supper

Dear Mom and Dad,

I thought you would like to see what I made Cory for dinner today. I stir-fried up some brocolli and beef with rice. That is unfortunately as Asian as I am going to get. Cory and I also submitted in an application for an apartment in Irving/ Las Colinas area. Hopefully, we will get it. Our apartment overlooks the canal that runs through the area and a park nearby so I can walk the dog. I have big plans to buy a bike so I can go biking some days in the park. But... we'll see. I will need to get a washer dryer first! According to Google Maps I will be 25 minutes away from Michelle. A little better than 45 minutes. Maybe I can make Sunday Suppers a ritual! But... that's another one of em' big plans. We'll see. Hope things are going well over there. I caught a glimpse of the Honda Fit Dad wants to buy. It's teeny!
Love,
Jesselyn
